Cover Craft

Single unaddressed #6-3/4 (6-9/16" x 3-11/16") envelope with block of 4 stamps. “First Day of Issue” cancellation and postmark. Very nice embossed cachet of a lacemaker’s hands doing bobbinlace. The orange circle might represent the lace pillow.  Cover Craft Cachets was founded by Ben Schwartz in 1964, and has been a limited edition of Farnam since 1987. It lacks the grey color to the envelope typical of present-day production, but this practice might not yet have been in place in 1987. The production of the cachet is high quality, and similar to that of the Farnam example.  The line has been produced by Artmaster since 1988.
