Flemish Pottery Lacemaker with commercial marks

4" diameter, 1.5" high

A very small, unsigned plate, and a very rare example. The maker is Willemeyns in the Bruges periode, between 1930 and 1950. The image is high relief. There are two holes in the back at the top for hanging the plate. Overall things don't quite line up with the holes. I've shown the image so that it lines up with the hanging holes on the back, howeve this throws the 'Bruges' label at the bottom to the left. The whole image would be tilted if the 'Bruges' were at the bottom, and I don't really know the intent of the maker. The holes are in the foot rim at the top in the back picture, they really don't show in the photo.

Basically perfect condition.
