Mechlin border

Very good condition. Both ends cut, one secured, the other raw. One small hole near the engrelure, a few pinholes in the mesh. The piece is curved perhaps conforming to the engrelure, hard to get it to lay flat for the photo. A few minor creases.
Mesh/motifs linen - Average diameter 0.061mm Standard Deviation 0.012mm.
Gimp linen - Looks like 3 ply S single Z, diameter ~0.359mm. Hard to measure the thread doesn't stay tight too much.

This Mechlin border has no esprits, and places the floral element in the center of the width. Some interesting fillings along the lower border, some with single tallies, others with a grid of what isn't quite a tally but looks like it. And a kind of honeycomb, but with too many twists. Interesting piece.
