Very good condition, scattered small brown spots. One zigzag join, probably original manufacture. one straight join, probably also original. 
Ground/motifs - linen: 2 ply S single Z, Average diameter 0.079mm, Standard Deviation 0.0074mm
Gimp - linen: 2 ply S, single Z, Average diameter 0.331mm, Standard Deviation 0.0217.

This might be an 18th c piece, or a 19th c copy (I think it is). It's very long and in very good condition, which might argue for 19th c. Linen thread would argue for early 19th c. Simple diagonal floral pattern, with one quatrefoil 'esprit' per repeat. Simple 'fond chant'? fillings with some honeycomb/woven tallies.
Interesting, this mesh always has only 1 twist in the pairs before entering the plait.
