The backsides of postcards are remarkably consistent across different producers, and often provide a clue as to the date of issuance. I have scanned unwritten examples to associate with each card - these are the same as the ones used on each card, but without any writing that might be present on that particular card.

Divided backs started to appear in France in 1907, and were in general use by 1910.
