Tulle Machine Model

Need measurements.
Very good condition, although I can't figure out how it works. Messed up the thread spool when I first got it.

Model of a tulle net machine. It also has a fitted case.

Notes from the seller:
I believe it took about 20 years to construct. The man who built it ran the original full size lace making machine that was used to produce the lace for Queen Victoria's wedding and all of the female royals to the last wedding of Lady Diana Spencer. Not long after in the 1990's I believe the full size lace maker was decommisioned and is now in the Museum of Devon life in Tiverton. I've still yet to research more and talk to the museum ...
I'm not really sure what it produces patter- wise but I was told by the grandson of the maker of the machine that it's a fully working model not just a display piece. it has a purpos built carrying case and also a drawer full of spare parts etc...
I come from an engineering backround (aerospace) so im always interested in anything mechanical and this is all quality, nothing made with modern machines, it's all done in a traditional way, no cnc machining but grandfather machining with an old lathe etc., in the garden shed !! He should have been a toolmaker not a machine operator ! The guy spent his life operating the main machine so had plenty of time to measure and copy parts to scale !!
