Honiton bride ground collar

37" neckline, 3-3/4" center depth
Very good condition. One small brown stain midway up the left side near the outer edge. Center fold crease.

Excellent Honiton collar. Note the two halfstitch bird motifs, each with a separate wing. Leaf, fern, and edge motifs are very well done, with a ground of square plaited picoted brides. Note the looped neckline is a separate edge which has been sewn on. Simple woven tally fillings.
