Very good condition. "joins" ~28", 74", 78", 106", 130" 151", 155", 167", 2 at ~173" from left end. Some are just lines in the upper reseau (probably manufacturing artifacts), a few go all the way through. Reseau fin in excellent condition, with a few repairs. Cut both ends. Slight yellowish cast.

Length of Alençon later 18th c, Réseau fin ground, light border. Similar design as Alencon_border_2. Accidental variation in esprits 10" from right end. Sometimes spurious esprit motifs are put up against the woven engrelure. There's something unclear about this upper edge, needs a little unpicking investigation.
An excellent construction example of a very long piece.
