19th century Alençon border

14 cm x 200 cm (5.51" x 78.74") (check the width measurement)
Excellent condition. No obvious defects. A little grey. There might be old repairs, but if so they are extremely well done.

Probably later than 1760. The solid motifs seem to indicate Argentan. The mesh seems to have some buttonholing, but I have to get it under the microscope to make certain. Nice technique - note the 'Argentella' - type fillings. Interesting large piece.
