Wooden Carving of a Lacemaker

10-3/4" tall, base 3-3/4" x 3-3/4"
Inscribed Lashermes Calixte, 1869 on the bottom of the base.

This piece is very much in the tradition of the carved and decorated pliors of the Haute Loire region.
In looking from the back, the left-hand side of her cap is chipped. Otherwise fine condition.
