The backsides of postcards are remarkably consistent across different producers, and often provide a clue as to the date of issuance. I have scanned unwritten examples to associate with each card - these are the same as the ones used on each card, but without any writing that might be present on that particular card.

Undivided back used by Bergeret until 1904. The phrase Ce Coté est exclusivement réservé a l’adresse first appeared in France in 1881.
