Very good condition. The dark color may be an indication of dying with tea or some other method.

Border of a short repeat, drooping single flower with 3 rows of quatrafoil esprits. Simple fillings, couched cordonnet. This is a design hearkening back to the late 18th c, not the typical more heavy floral Burano design. Quite fine thread, good technique. Similar design to the Next Burano_border_3.
