Mrs. Catherine Mantz, Peoria, Illinois.
Pekin, Illinois. Pekin is a suburb of Peoria.

Mrs. Mantz ays she visited Mexico 4 years ago (not sure when that was), learned the technique, and was inspired to invent the frame.
The rings are nickeled Tin with from 32 to 112 holes along the rim. It came in 5 sizes, the 3 smallest marked as Set A, the 2 largest as Set B. The Set B frames seem to have some kind of reinforcing impression just inside the rim.
These were exhibited at the Illinois State Fair, 1905, and won several prizes in Teneriffe/Brazilian point lace
