Van Natta

Two #6-3/4 (6-1/2" x 3-11/16") unaddressed envelopes, each with 2 stamps. “First Day of Issue” cancellations and postmarks. One has an unofficial ‘Ann Arbor, MI’ postmark, the other an unofficial ‘Laceyville, PA’ postmark. The cachets are by George Van Natta, and hand painted. One shows an older woman making lace, the other shows a younger woman presumably wearing the lace on her wedding dress and veil.  126 sets were produced, but the envelopes were not numbered.
