Flanders coasters

each ~4.75" diameter (12.06cm)
Excellent condition, no discernable damage. Seller says they were washed and ironed before sale.

Twelve coasters of Flanders (with gimp) lace,each with a different animal:
Armadillo?, Bird in a shoe, Dolphin
Fox, Parrot?, Cow
Bird, Deer, Salamander?
Lion, Squirrel, Swan
The designs are very unusual, and nicely done but a little primitive. One way to guess figure orientation is to keep the lines of the ground pattern oriented horizontally. This does not always agree with putting the outer losenge with beginning/ending thread tails at the bottom, so much of this is a guess. I could only tell the front of each coaster by looking for the cutoff threads overlaying the work, as is typical on the backside of a piece.
