Lacemaker

5-1/2" high, 1/2" long, 2-1/16" wide.

No maker's mark, but inscribed with the number. The size is fairly small compared to other examples.

The colors are quite bright, and overall the modelling is quite nice. The drapery is nicely formed. Compared to my other example (see 'Next' above), the colors are much more solid in this example. The overall design of these two pieces would argue that they came from the same pottery, but the details are different. The left foot in this one is near the chair, and the angle of her head is different. In the other, both feet are on the stand, and the colors are more muted.

Large crack running from the chair up to the bonnet along her left shoulder, but this seems to have happened in firing..
