Lacemaker

No maker's mark, but inscribed with the number 1007 at the back of the base. The size is fairly small compared to other examples.

The colors are a bit grainy and faded, and overall the modelling is quite nice. The drapery is nicely formed, no incised shortcuts are used. Even though the details of the face aren't as clear as one finds in other examples and there is no openwork in the chair or pillow stand, I like the overall look of this piece.

The piece is in excellent condition, no damage that I can see.
