Very good condition. Cut ends are folded and secured. 4mm tape attached as an engrelure.

This type of lace was a staple in the Antwerp area in the mid 17th century. This example is a little coarse, perhaps typical of products sent to South America? Very nice technique, with a heavy plaited ground. Hard to classify laces like this, but for the moment I'll leave it in Belgium continuous laces.
