Danish 17th c bobbin lace border

Very good condition, a few small brown spots. Cut both ends.

An extraordinary length of probably Danish 'tape' bobbinlace, 2nd quarter 17th c. The rather circular designs can probably be classified as a mix between tape and pieced lace, since some of the motifs appear to merge with others. Beautiful technique.
