Windmill bobbin winder with drawer

An English oak solid-wheel windmill bobbin winder. This winder came with a square pillow (square_7), a strip of Beds lace, 24 bobbins, 3 prickngs, 3 cover cloths, thread, and a bobbin box (Bobbin_box_2).

We have an awful lot of lacemaking equipment it seems that my great great great grandmother did a lot of it! In Northamptonshire. We have hundreds of wooden and bone bobbins, a lot of lace thread and Lace itself. We had some lace professionals from Norfolk and Suffolk come over yesterday and have a look through it, so we are a little bit better informed about what is what, but in general we don't do lacemaking ourselves so don't know a lot about it! Perhaps the best thing is to photograph it?
