Windmill bobbin winder with drawer

A little warped in the base, otherwise very good condition.
Displayed at the Mesa Public Library "Handmade Lace: From Fine Art to Folk Art" exibition, 07/05/2008 to 08/02/2008, with a skein of Pete & Son thread on the windmill winding a bone Midlands bobbin.

This is probably the best example of a solid wheel English oak bobbin winder in the collection. Well-made and of elegant design with a smooth patina.
