Late Alençon lappets

23" x 3", 23-1/2" x 3" (58.42cm x 3cm, 23.5cm x 3cm)
Good condition. Badly cut at ends (I did that in a bungled separation attempt). Some repair to réseau.
Mounted for "Lace, from Fine Art to Folk Art", Mesa Public Library, Los Alamos, NM, 07/05/08 to 08/02/08.

Louis XVI style, small sprigs in ground of réseau fin, elaborate circular jours at lower ends. Mirror images.
