Tatted Handkerchief

Very good condition, looks unused. Occasional crease, and one localized brown stain in the lower right corner.

The earlier type of tatting where joins are tied together with a separate thread is used to join motifs together. The more modern direct joins are used within the motifs. There are also needlemade fillings in the centers of the motifs - simple 1-twist stitches on all of the 3 concentric circles. No return through the tops as in Tatted_motif_1. Closely resembles Tatted_handkerchief_3.
