Italian Flat Point Needlelace border

Fair condition. Ends cut, much wear. Uncertain which is the top and bottom of this piece. But in the bottom as photographed, there are two different decorative borders, one in the middle (~14"), and the other on both ends (~3" and ~11")

This is a confusing piece no coherent design. I think this has been pieced together from perhaps three other pieces. Looking closely, there are several styles of brides in different sections, ranging from single brides decorated with picoted rings, to double brides with similar decoration. The character of the clothwork also changes in these sections. Some motifs are blocky, some are quite graceful. I'm putting this in the Italian flat points because of the fine thread.
