Pescocostanzo border

6" x 72"
Very good condition, no obvious damage, a little beige. Cut both ends.
Linen: 2 Ply S Single Z. average 0.583 standard deviation 0.067.

Perhaps a Pescocostanzo piece, although it is very heavy with a highly stylized design of flowers and leaves. I'll leave it here for the moment. Note the 5-hole stitches at the top, this is sometimes used as a ground in Pescocostanzo borders. Most of the background is 4-thread plaited brides.
