Superfine Shetland shawl

Very good condtion, although some broken threads along one corner, and a few more throughout.
Wool: Single Ply Z.

Despite the words "Orenburgskyi Platok" in the seller's description, knitting experts have identified this as a superfine Shetland knitted shawl. Mainly because of the trapezoidal shape of each of the 4 sides, along with the square center where the knitting began.
The thread is extremely fine, and if Russian it would be a goat hair. In Shetland the wool comes from Shetland breed of sheep.
