Camariñas (La Coruña) collar

3.5" front depth, 16.5" tip to tip. Neckline ~22". (8.89cm 41.91cm 55.88cm)
Excellent condition, unused. (poor photo taken with iPhone, will be redone.)

Rare to find Camariñas lace, although there is an important industry in the region. Unknown age, but it was purchased at the Palilleìra Melania (see Paper, it came wrapped in a paper printed with these ads). This collar has a rose-ground with small woven tallies in the shape of an 'X', and some woven spots. Slightly scalloped outer border.
