Nix Cachets

#6-3/4 envelope, 6-1/2” x 3-11/16” with block of 4 stamps and First Day of Issue cancellation and postmark.

Louis Nix cachet, simple thermographed lettering in blue and gold, typical of this designer, design #152. I think this is Louis G. Nix, who made cachets starting in the 1930's - you see many of his covers from WWII and early 50's. This one is quite late, maybe distrubingly late since I don't know exactly how long he was active. But the later number (152) is definitely high and consistent with a later date.
